A sensible precaution to keep Thistle prisoner, but it was stopping his approach. He couldn't bring his pysical form past the boundry, and can't manifest from shadows within it. It left only one option. He returned to J'Nekai, using his own emotions to calm her. He explained things to her quickly, though he didn't know if she understood with her mental state still unbalanced. He then moved himself through J'Nekai herself, using his connection with Thistle to travel, instead of his power over shadows. As a result, he ended up the only place he had a hold in that area, within Thistle. Without even trying he was hit by her mental state. It was no wonder that J'Nekai was upset. Her mind was nothing he readily recognized. It was a storm of chaos and hatred and violence. It seemed to him something about the darkness within reminded him of times past, when he used to- He banished the encroaching memories with a thought and returned his concentration on Thistle. He tried to speak to her but couldn't get through the chaos that was there. It would take a lot of work to help her, and it made him think of a few knew things to allow her captors to experience. But first he had to find out what was going on. He took a few detours around some of the more active parts of Thistle's mind and looked from her eyes. He was slightly surprised to see Storm. But then, it looked like the woman had gotten herself captured, and from Thistle's current thoughs, she wasn't planning good things for Storm, didn't even recognize her. He had no love for Storm, and in fact, disliked her a great deal. But he did care for Thistle and others who would not take Storm's death well. Stygian tried telling Thistle to stop, getting no notice as before. Something corrupt and vile seemed to have her mentally captive and controlled her body.. He would have to fight this foriegn entity for posession of her mind and body if he was going to get Thistle to stop. Unable to use his shadow abilities, he used what was opened to him, reached into Thistle's mind, and took control of her body. He hoped she'd thank him later. ] √ 6OOOOOOO! ~~~ The mental scream was sent out into a void, no direction. Just out. It encountered a nebulus in the netherworld and struck tiny ripples out over the surface. A slow ember turned. A soft yielding crystaline matter that whould occasionally swirl gossamer and smokey. Something within the depths of the nether cloud began to stir. The nebulous curled in on itself for a moment, tendrils of dark mutli-colored matter swirled thick and slow in that moment and stilled. It had returned to its ~~~ Wake! Awake! Find yourself! ~~~ This time the call collided with that nethermatter sending reverberations through out. The dull spark gained intensity with the vibrations and it began to draw into itself.. but this time it did not stop. The process was achingly slow and complicated. the light glowing swirls of essense began to wrap into eachother and a form of mesmerizing weaving began. A sluggish thought, -thick and syrupy pushed itself up from the heaviness of dormancy returned finally to the surface to answer ~ who? ~ ~~~ Awaken now! Pull together.. regain yourself! LIVE AGAIN!~~~ Ember turned again within its womb of near-existance. Its cradle of near death now melting away. ~ who are you? ~ ~~~ I alone should not exist.. but I am all that is left.. ~~~ The voice that spoke in the void had no form.. only something it was anchored to, something dark and foreboding, something beyond. The nebulus perhaps had its own form.. but its own thoughts were strange, cumbersome and unwieldy. ~ who am I? ~ ~~~ As I am a sliver of her mind, So you are a sliver of her soul ~~~ It turned this thought as it turned and wove itself clearer, stronger, closer. Formless matter.. A soul? - only part? ~ I ? ~ ~~~ Come together! COME TO ME! NOW!! ~~~ Self-awreness bloomed soon enough -emerging from the heavy cocoon of its coma ~ I am- ~ ***** Worlds away Stygian lifted his head suddenly as a piece of this soul found its essence and knew itself once again. ~* J'Nekai? *~ Stygian lifted his head from watching Mouse as he sensed J'Nekai. She had finally reassembled herself, and his circuit with Thistle was returned. He felt hope, a strange sensation for him, as he began tracking through her. Yes, Thistle was still alive, he'd be able to get her back and make those who took her pay. He was looking forward to the opportunity, he hadn't made anyone suffer in the phsycial plane for a while. His attention returned to the physical as he noted Mouse was staring at him. "Whats wrong, da?" she asked. "I have found Thistle." he replied evently. Mouse hopped up and looked at him excitedly, looking around the room as if she was hiding somewhere. "Sel-wolf?" she asked. He noded a little, his eyes looking distant. "I'm going to have to concentrate and be somewhere else for a while, child." "Can I help?" she asked. Stygian looked at her a moment, then nodded. "Come, sit here and lend me your strength." Mouse scampered forward and settled herself between his forelegs. She immediately began to concentrate on Sel-Wolf so that her da could use her help. She never helped him before like this but she would give it her best. Stygian gave her a small, but fond smile, had no intention of taking her energy, but she would feel better feeling that she is helping. He curled his neck around and laid his head in her lap, before sending more of his attention elsewhere. His first stop was J'Nekai. She was understandibly upset, and bordering on incomprehensible. Her mind was filled with images of her 'death'.. and something else was effecting her. He moved onward through the shadow realm towards where he felt Thistle. As he neared her he came to a barrier of some sort. He frowned mentally as he tested it. [ ]├┴┐╜╗╣╖╡│▒пнлйзегбЯЭЫЩЧХУСПИ╧
